Web Motor Velocity Step Experiment Instructions:

 
  1. Click the Motor Velocity Step Experiments : "Physical Units Experiment” or the “Machine Units Experiment” link on the previous window.
  2. Right click on the LABVIEW front panel and select “Request Control.”
  3. Change control parameters on the LABVIEW front panel to desired values.
  4. Enter a comment in the “Comments” field on the LABVIEW font panel.(Text placed here will be put at the top of the data file; see step 6 below.)
  5. Run an experiment by clicking the white arrow in the upper left hand corner of the LABVIEW front panel. 
  6. Click the link in the left had pane of the browser to download a spreadsheet formatted text data file. (The data file contains parameters and position data, as well as your comments; see step 4 above. The file uses comma to delimit columns and end-lines to delimit rows.) 
  7. Run another experiment by repeating steps 3 through 6 above.
  8. Note: After 10 minutes of inactivity, your browser will timeout and release control of the experiment and stop the video stream.
